HOW TO FIX A DETAIL DEPARTMENT

PHASE 1: DRY VEHICLE PREP

2 crew members

  1. Remove all vanity tags and brackets.
  2. Remove all leaves and debris from windshield cowling.
  3. Remove trash from interior including trunk and spare tire storage.
  4. Vacuum carpet and seats.
  5. Clean all exterior glass removing decals, stickers or markings.
  6. Pre treat exterior-all dirt, grime, grease, bugs, acid rain, tar, paint.

PHASE 2: WASH & RINSE

Same 2 crew members

  1. Pre-spray carpet and upholstery for shampoo/extraction later.
  2. Clean all door jambs, under hood, engine compmt and gas door.
  3. Clean wheel wells, tires and rims.
  4. Use clay bar on exterior to remove overspray and fallout.
  5. Wet sand headlights/tail lights if needed.
  6. Thoroughly wash exterior.
  7. Chamois vehicle removing water spots.
  8. Apply headlight/tail lights shine restorer.

PHASE 3: EXTERIOR WAX

2 crew members

  1. Compound any oxidized or faded paint.
  2. Wet sand any light scratches.
  3. Apply proper wax/sealant depending on paint color.
  4. Remove all excess wax between door panels, moldings and trim.
  5. Touch up scratches and or chips throughout outer painted area.
  6. Apply dressing on rubber and exterior cladding.
  7. Apply non-silicone tire dressing on outer side walls.

PHASE 4: INTERIOR DETAILING

2-3 crew members

  1. Clean all interior fabrics using shampoo, steam cleaners and/or extractors.
  2. Clean mats and place in trunk.
  3. Clean seat belts.
  4. Clean dash, steering wheel, center console, door panels, quarter panels, kick panels, sills, rear deck lids and cargo compartments.
  5. Clean all interior glass, mirrors and instrument panels.

PHASE 5: 1st INSPECTION

1 crew member

  1. Ensure detailing is optimal before artwork.

PHASE 6: INTERIOR DYEWORK & UPHOLSTERY REPAIRS (OPTIONAL)

2 crew members

  1. Repair and dye various fabrics, vinyl and leather on but not limited to door panels, headliner, dash, carpet, seats and trunk matting.
  2. Re-pad upper and lower seat cushions.
  3. Color match replacement parts such as door panels, interior or exterior trim items.
  4. Dye soiled carpets or install heel pads where needed.
  5. Also heavy odor removal, windshield chip repair, coat headlights with clearcoat, cig burn repair, headliner repair, black out exterior trim.

PHASE 7: 2nd INSPECTION–ALL CLEAR

1 crew member

  1. Install Carpet protection film on front driver and passenger side.
  2. Inspect every aspect of the above interior and exterior.
  3. Insure that vehicle is completely ready and we have done our best.
  4. Invoice daily.
